Only thing I can suggest is to have the kick and snare louder, even for 8bit music

Okay okay I have a lot to say so I'll try to organize this xD

First, in overall, I like the song! That's the kind of music that I enjoy and I feel like this song tells a story, the title fits well with the song.

I think that the arrangment is well made, but I have tons of things to say about mixing so that you can take my advices if you want, and then improve :)
But of course it is only my feeling.

So I would like to start with the piano, not much to say here, I like it :) I like the chord progression and the sound of piano feels good with that nice little reverb.

Next we hear drums :
- The drum pattern : I like it, it is good :) Maybe a little more hats?
- Kick : Too much sub in it and really not enough transient imo!! We want it to kick ;)
- Snare : I don't like it I don't know why :/ It feels muddy or idk :/ Maybe try some editing with a transient shaper if you have, or just change that snare.
- Ride : Feels good :)
- High Hats : Oof! Idk if it's because of the mp3 compression or something else, but they sound really bad with tons of frequencies hurting my ears :'( Try to fix that!

- "Violins" : They are good :D

Between 0:50 and 1:20 where we only hear the kick, I feel like you could had more thing so that it don't sound that boring ^^' Like a clap every other beat.

I like the calm part between 1:20 and 1:45 but there are some wrong notes in the piano I believe? Maybe it is on purpose.

That synths part that drops at 1:45 is just coming right into my face! Ouch I don't like that, try to announce it or make it quieter or try anything to smooth it a little :') And again it feels bad in the high-end but I can't tell why :/ Check how you are exporting audio maybe ?

This climax at 2:10 is very nice :) (But consider everything said above as some problems remain in that part ^^)

Then it basically repeat itself with some changes which is very nice! but I won't get into more detail then xd
I really like how it finishes tho :)

Hey dude!
There are a couple of things that I don't like in this song, and I know that you do that to practice and I'm sure you've learned a lot from it :)
There is too much noise and that's very difficult to keep your ears fresh you know ? :') Especially on the high frequencies there's too much stuff going on. I think even the hihats at the start are too loud and wet. The kick feels great but it's a little too distorted to me :/ And also the chord progression going on after 1:44 feels very strange xD But that's cool in a way !

There are a couple of things that I like too !
First the snare, it sounds very good imo :D
The pad at the beginning is also a very great idea :)

I did amplify the noise intentionally, but if people report that it is too loud, then I can tone it down. Also, I am still experimenting with drum synthesizers, so you can expect the drums to sound strange. However, thank you for the review!

That's a great song! It's very pleasant to hear :D

There's something strange tho, in the drop things feels not wide at all and very low quality! More precisely the snare needs a little more work and the lead + chords sounds awful to me :c

I'm sorry that might be rude but actually I'm saying this because it's very strange how every other part in the song sounds so clear and well mixed ! And I want you to imporve :')

Thanks for your criticism! I felt that too when I first hear it after finishing it, but I decided to continue anyway because I didn't get used to sound designing and didn't know how to fix the problem. I'll try to improve that :) Have a nice day!

Add an ambient "bridge" after the drop and then do a second drop and it'll be sick I think !

I haven't listened with good audio headphones but I think you can improve the mix a lot ! I'm not sure how though :') Still learning ya know
